NECA IBEW 193 JATC Electrical Apprenticeship Program
About: IBEW JATC
The JATC partners with NECA to offer apprenticeships in two trades:
- 5-year Inside Wireman program combining classroom and on-the-job training to produce journeyman electricians skilled in installing and maintaining electrical systems.
- 3-year Telecommunications program focused on low voltage systems including networks, surveillance and alarms.
Apprentices become IBEW members upon completion. The JATC has trained electricians since 1901. Join us for a rewarding, hands-on apprenticeship.

Ready to start your electrical career? Applications for the IBEW Local 193 JATC apprenticeship are accepted on a rolling basis.
The process includes an online application, aptitude test, and interview. Requirements include: age 18+, high school diploma or GED, and proof of algebra completion.
Application fee: $25. Take the first step toward a rewarding union career.
